The Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy 2016 aimed to survey the research projects in industrial biotechnology across the Euro-Mediterranean area and promote industry-university partner- ships. On this occasion the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), Veneto Innovazione and Innovhub-SSI organised the “EEN Biotech and Bioecon- omy Partnering Event – IFIB 2016”, offering opportunities to meet poten- tial partners in pre-arranged face-to-face bilateral meetings in order to establish new cooperation opportunities in research, technology transfer and business.
