On 27 September the “Circular Economy Potential in Lithuania: Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies“ event took place in Vilnius at the Physical Sciences and Technology Center. At the beginning of the event, the Lithuanian Economy Vice-Minister Marius Skarupskas gave a welcome speech emphasizing the importance of the circular economy to Lithuania’s economy. The aim of the
event was to encourage Lithuanian businesses and scientists, operating in bio, food, renewable energy and related issues and applying the circular economy principles, to cooperate in creating or developing products/services/processes together.
