The European BioCannDo project invites actors along the bio-based food packaging value chain to participate in a communications workshop. In the workshop, we want to jointly develop key messages that create more awareness with consumers around bio-based food packaging. The workshop will take place as an official partner event of IFIB 2018 on 27 September 2018.
In this interactive workshop, we will together explore the development of clear, scientifically sound communication messages about bio-based food packaging that can be easily understood by a general audience. While there have been numerous projects exploring different aspects of the bioeconomy, there has been little work done so far on developing concrete and understandable communication materials. We understand that communicating about your work is not always easy and we hope that the BioCannDo project will be able to support you in this regard. The outcomes of this workshop will directly inform the work of the project; hence, offering an opportunity for shaping the European Commission’s and industry’s communication about the bioeconomy and bio-based food packaging.
