Country: France

Venue: 3, Rue des Rouges Terres – F- 51110 Pomacle (France)

30 students will be welcomed in our research center and will discover how to transform plant biomass into bio-based products. The Center for Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (CEBB) is a multidisciplinary research academic center, with a technological hall and a chemistry scale-up zone, at the heart of the biorefinery and dedicated to the valuation of biomass and industrial by-products.

The complementary scientific expertise covers the entire knowledge and competencies needed to create innovation and new technologies and turn them into industrial reality: white biotechnologies, green chemistry, process engineering, multi-scale modelling and studies of promising market tracks.

The middle school students will discover our laboratories, speak with researcher, watch a film about biorefinery, etc.
