Everyone knows the saying “arms stolen from agriculture”. What if we said that our agro-farm sector lacks intelligence and skill and not arms? We want to stimulate a discussion between professionals (breeders, contractors, researchers, producers but also consumers) on the role of biotechnology in Italian livestock as an instrument of innovation but also a bearer of sustainability. We will talk about how biotechnology can bring young people closer to this sector, which is not yet socially accepted. Finally, we will try to refute the negative myths related to the combination of science and animal husbandry.
