The German biotech association BIO Deutschland hosted an interactive online media event where participants were asked to present a video clip in a specially created YouTube channel and compete with each other for the most clicks.

The tagline of the concept “Show us what you’ve got” allowed the participants to portray an entertaining and informative picture of the German biotechnology industry. Underlining the diversity of the biotech sector, the videos showed a wide range of themes, including biotech material used to bake a pizza, treating infectious diseases, producing biofuels and using DNA analysis to identify war victims.
