We will present a development itinerary of an IVD system, starting from studies about discovery biomarkers, through design and validation of a diagnostic prototype. Thanks to a guided visit to the laboratories of proteomics, genomics and diagnostic systems, the researchers of Porto Conte Research will show the phases and the study technologies linked to the biomarker discovery and the development of immunodiagnostic markers.
