Historically, the optical microscope scored the most important discoveries in the scientific world. The observation of living beings through its powerful lenses allowed the description of structures, mechanisms and behaviors previously unknown and unimaginable.
The theoretical and practical activities of this event involve the use of optical and stereoscopic microscopes for guided observations of animal and plant samples, in compliance with all ethical standards. The theorical educational part is intended as an introduction to the use of research tools normally used in a scientific laboratory, such as those used at the Bioparco.
