A debate took place in Rome, in collaboration with EY Italy, regarding the role of biotechnology for the Italian economy.

The European Commission has identified biotechnology among the Key Enabling Technologies (KET) able to contribute, in terms of added value, to the management of the many challenges that our society is facing in terms of health, agriculture, energy and the environment.

The event included a policy discussion on a strategy to use biotechnology as a tool for growth and competitiveness, as well as ways to develop youth employment in Italy and was attended by about 50 people.
