Within Biotech Week, BOKU University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences held a symposium focusing on the application of biotechnology in the production of renewable energy. The event was open to the general public who learnt about the essential role that biotechnology plays in the production process of clean fuel. In order to foster R&D and with the support of sponsors, the Austrian Minister for Economic Affairs handed out 6 prizes to young scientists for their dissemination and project acquisition in the biotech field. @oehboku
