Know and Discover the Biobanks: What they are, Who is participating, How do they function and why are they needed?

In the morning of 24 and 26 September (9:00-13:00) with students of secondary schools of Forlì, Cesena, Rimini and Ravenna: lecture, interactive lab and guided tour at the cryobiological room and the laboratory of Biological Resources Center (CRB) of IRST IRCCS.

In the afternoon of 24 September (15:00-17:00) with biobankers, clinicians (oncologists, surgeons, pathologists), nurses, researchers and data managers of IRST IRCCS and AUSL della Romagna: presentation of CRB data activities and perspectives. Interventions of Massimo Guidoboni (Director of Immunotherapy, Cell Therapy and CRB Unit of IRST IRCCS), Valentina Ancarani (Project manager of CRB), Luca Frassineti (Director of Medical Oncology Unit of IRST IRCCS), Giulio Rossi (Director of Pathology Unit of AUSL della Romagna), Giorgio Ercolani (Director of Surgery and Advanced Cancer Therapy Unit of AUSL della Romagna).
