In collaboration with: Toscana Life Sciences Foundation

Several high schools let their students gain experience as scientists, equipped with lab coats and work instruments inside a real laboratory. The youths were flanked by researchers from Toscana Life Sciences incubator and Siena University’s Department of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Pharmacy for the entire morning, which consisted of a guided tour of research laboratories and performing experiments. The students were introduced to the world of research and guided in university choices, allowing them to experience firsthand how exciting it can be to work in the life sciences sector.
