The seminar was organised at the Institute of Biotechnology, Vilnius University. 54 school children from 3 Lithuanian schools (Vilnius Lyceum, Panevežio J. Balčikonio gymnasium, Šiaulių Dudžvario gymnasium) took part in this two-day seminar. The participants conducted eight laboratory experiments and participated in an excursion to the laboratories of the institute as well as two lectures: “The New methods of genome editing” and “iGEM competition in synthetic biology”.
