The event is a conference day organized by the European Center for Biotechnology and Bioeconomy. The focus is on microalgae cultivation process and valorization through food, cosmetics and fine chemistry. The speakers gather academic and industrial actors of the microalgae industry.
The first objective is to bring together specialists of microalgae to encourage collaborations between research and industry. The second objective is to present the different projects in which CEBB is involved in the field of microalgae, especially INTERREG projects.
The are expecting to reach an audience of researchers as well as industrials who could be interested either by the cultivation aspect or by the valorization aspect, considering microalgae as a source of new biobased chemicals, for instance.
