In the last few years, a number of studies demonstrated that the intestinal flora, henceforth called ‘microbiota’, played an important role in our organism. Allergies, Parkinson’s disease, obesity, inflammatory diseases, diabetes and even certain behavioural disorders could be partially explained by a malfunction of the microbiota.
