The PlayDecide@BiotechWeek initiative was developed in order to create a moment of confrontation between the students of the classes taking part in the event and biotechnology researchers, on the subjects of life sciences and their effects on society. PlayDecide (www.playdecide.eu) is a discussion game to discuss, in an easy but effective way, about controversial problems linked to innovative scientific themes (stem cells, neuroscience, synthetic biology, genetic tests etc.). This event, open to the general public, will occur basing on the successful experience of the last edition; young students preparing for a degree and graduate students, researchers in biotechnology fields at Bologna University, will be active part in the initiative as moderators and facilitators of the discussions with students.
