During the “European Biotech week”, this event will be available online and will provide the virtual presentation of the Biobanks of the Biological Resources Center of the IRCCS Pediatric Institute Giannina Gaslini. In this historical period during which research increasingly needs biological samples to study the genetic component of diseases, it is important that the population and health professionals are informed about the existence of biobanks and their usefulness. A video will be produced through which it will be possible to understand the main stages of biobanking and their use by researchers.
