Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing fields of technology and it has a great potential for research, production and marketing of new products and inventions. The areas that it covers
and the inventions arising from it – whether they concern medical applications, agriculture or environmental technologies – are of enormous importance for the public. Therefore, it is particularly interesting to take an in-depth view at the implementation of the Italian legislation in the biotech area and its recent evolutions. At the roundtable, experts in the field will discuss about Italian and European legislation on intellectual property rights in this field.
