Host: Centre for Innovation in Medicine
Centre for Innovation in Medicine is pleased to announce the launch of the State of Innovation 2021 Report. The main theme of this year’s edition of the State of Innovation Annual Report, coordinated by Dr. Marius Geantă, the president of Centre for Innovation in Medicine, revolves around biotechnologies and the unprecedented advances that made possible the personalized fight against the pathogen of the moment – SARS-CoV-2.
The Report also summarizes the advances in oncology and genomics and the opportunities that personalized and precision medicine bring for the citizens in terms of prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.
Another important chapter is the one dedicated to the change of the EU’s position with regards to the healthcare domain – the centralized acquisition of the Covid-19 vaccines must become a model in other diseases in order to reduce the inequalities between member states.
