Why biobanking human biological samples? Realising the full promise of precision medicine, whose goal is to provide the best available care for each individual, requires that researchers and health-care providers conduct independent clinical trials and have access to very large sets of samples of health and disease-related data linked to individual patients.
In the workshop the discussion will be focused on: Precision medicine towards N-1TRIALS, Big and complex health data; analysis, re-use and sharing, molecular and imaging biomarkers (from discovery to validation); EU certified Expert Centers as a public/private partnership supporting clinical research.
