The Institute of Molecular Genetics welcomes the general public on September 28th 2019, for its Open Day. Attendees will learn about the new opportunities offered by the modern Molecular Genetics techniques, to increase social wellness. The event will start with a brief introduction to the historical landmarks of genetic research and the development of its most advanced modern applications. Then, the attendees will have the opportunity to directly interact with the IGM-CNR researchers in different thematic workstations on DNA, RNA, Protein Cells and Bioinformatics, in order to learn how genetic information is handled, decoded and used in a modern scientific research environment.
