The process of developing new drugs and treatments was never as long, as risky and as expensive as it is today. In combination with the increasing pressure on health care budgets, this is limiting patients’ access to new treatments. Too many patients are still awaiting treatment options to enter the market. HollandBIO is convinced that moving from bench to bedside in a faster and better manner is the only way forward to deal with these challenges.
In this members-only meeting we will focus on the ideal future Dutch medicines policy. According to HollandBIO this policy should focus on solutions that integrate health, affordability and innovation, instead of the current cost containment-driven approach. In this Programme Meeting we will ask our members to collectively draft the medicines policy of our dreams.
